The EB-S27 is a bright entry level projector with good connectivity. With a brightness of 2700 lumens, the EB-S27 will project a bright image, but you may have to dim the lighting if you have a large audience in a bright room. At SVGA resolution, the image quality isn’t great and depending on what you’re used to using it could appear a little grainy, although it will comfortably display basic presentations and images. The 10,000:1 contrast ratio definitely helps the detail of the picture with good definition in dark scenes and the LCD technology giving good colour performance. At 2.5KGs, the EB-S27 is more designed as a portable projector as it will be easy to transport and comes with a soft carry case which will take the projector along with any cables you’re likely to need. It has a good range of inputs including HDMI, allowing you to connect to modern digital devices, along with the usual VGA. This also comes with the 3 in 1 USB input which allows you to display your image, sound and mouse control through a single USB cable. You can also present PC-free with a USB stick. If you can use the projector remote control to forward the slides then that is one less thing to carry. Automatic vertical keystone and manual horizontal keystone are advantageous too as the set up and positioning will be nice and easy. Overall, this is a reliable and lightweight presentation projector with good build quality. It has a low resolution but is priced well and will be fine for basic presentations and comes with a 3 year warranty. For more information please see the PDF link on the left hand side.
